The lighting in the pool area was poor. Only half the lights were utilized and the ones used were not lit fully. It was very dangerous to watch small children. I had to bring a book light into the pool area to read, it was so dark. Also, the door was always open. Even though they said children should always be with a parent, a child could easily walk in and drown before a parent even knew what happened. The key card was on the door, but not operational. The breakfast bar was poorly maintained. The tables were dirty and the food provided were all bread products, except the yogurt and hard boiled eggs. It was a good hotel for our little family trip to the Illinois River. It was close and convenient to town and the river. We did enjoy the indoor swimming pool. Was nice to cool off inside after a hot day outside. ...read more

This was our second stay in this hotel. Both times the pool was not operable. This was a great disappointment to our children. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We loved that each room had a fridge and microwave, a great benefit when traveling with young children. One major issue is that the hotel only has one crib. All the employees were more than helpful from the front desk to the cleaning staff, hotel always smelled like it had just been cleaned, all the basics you need for an overnights stay.

The room was clean and the continental breakfast was nice.

The hotel was very clean and a great choice. My only complaint is that I chose this hotel for its pool. The pool was closed because of them not having tablets to keep it clean. This is your business. This was a very nice hotel. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. It was very easy to get to this hotel. The rooms were very clean.
